Great Plains Horse Society Alliance
The heart of the Alliance are people whose spirits have been strengthened by the horse nation and grandmother earth.  We have felt and seen their healing power in our lives and communities.  Beyond this, we have come to recognize that this healing comes from the creator.  For the American Indian tribes of the Great Plains and beyond, separation from our land and the animal nations, especially the horse nation, has been traumatic.  We see that now is the time in history when we reconnect with these relatives as we come to live well and whole once again.

The Alliance includes individuals and groups with diverse expertise, and the applications of the horse culture, in terms of health and wellness, community development, education, and innovative programming are endless.  However, we always humbly recognize that our foundation is in the sacred strength brought to us by the horse nation, grandmother earth, and the creator.
